Over generations, deliberate distortions introduced during the colonial period and reinforced in the post-colonial era have created doubts and misconceptions in the minds of today’s youth and intellectual community regarding India’s civilizational and knowledge traditions. To address these misconceptions through rational, scientific, and academic discourse, Vedant Bharat (Society for Vedantic Consciousness), in collaboration with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (Dr. RMLIMS), Lucknow, is organizing Ramjanmotsava 5.0, comprising a National Conference and a National Workbook Competition at Auditorium, Academic Block, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (Dr. RMLIMS), Lucknow on 21st and 22nd March, 2026.
The National Conference on “Interdisciplinary Research Perspectives in the Ramayana” will feature scientific sessions, oral and poster presentations, and scholarly deliberations examining the Ramayana through the lenses of education, governance, public policy, science, health, leadership, and ethics.
Alongside the conference, a National Workbook Competition is being organized to promote structured academic engagement with Bharatiya knowledge traditions, focusing on values, emotional and spiritual intelligence, leadership, crisis management, and national consciousness. Participants will have the opportunity to compete for attractive cash prizes.
